Kori notices this and jumps back, melting 3 icicles and forms a patch of ice in front of her path, reading his left arm with his sword

Xen skids to a halt, spinning around as she does and slamming her tail down into the ice to shatter it and lifting it again quickly.

Kori melts the shattered ice, but instead of reforming the icicles he forms the water into protectors on his feet, running at her, but forcing out a blast of ice dust from the protectors, making him run faster, readying his sword once more

Xen too rushes forward again, bracing her left arm and pivoting sideways as she grasps the blade with her metallic hand.

He stabs the ground with the sword, despite the female grabbing it. melting it and refreezing it around her arm to root her to the ground, jumping backwards away from the woman. he pauses and smells around in the air "That's a foul smell of blood..."

She pulls for a second, gritting her teeth in irritation before swinging her tail around to shatter it. She moves back, too. He's skilled in his art, but his stratergy leaves something be desired...

Kori melts the shattered ice and reforms it on his wings then melts the wings back into his vile. still smelling around, looking over to Minori to see her shivering in fear a bit "Nope...theres something wrong in the village..."

He eruptly turns into a fox and walks over to Minori. Minori gets on his back and holds tight "My village is more important then some spar... follow if you wish" he then heads off, running across the water as it freezes to his touch

Kori hurries off to the village, Minori holding him tightly

The usual noise and bustle of the market town is absent as Kori and his companion approach, instead the chatter and activity have circulated into one, large group. The crowd is gathered so tightly - with pushing and packing in and all manners apparently forgotten - that little of the curiosity so unusual as to draw all the market people swarming from their stalls can be discerned.

"The hunter is pleased to have your attention, good people of this settlement!" announces a voice from somewhere in the centre, glimpses of a standing figure just visible above the heads of the crowd.

Kori gets to the town and suddenly hides due to the large group. being on a roof top he peers over the top just out of site to see whats happening as his eerie frost settles slowly around the town.

A dark, broad figure mostly obscured by his heavy coat paces back and forth. From Kori's angle his features are kostly obscured by matted black hair, about shoulder in length. He paces back and forth, a figure of meduim height whose assured strides lend him feet in height.

Behind him stands silently second figure, whose arms are folded and who dwarfs him in height.

"Such hospitality is an honour!" calls the first over the chatter of the crowd.
"We come here today, to do a a great favour for your kind and hospitable people... and in return we require the favour of your co-operation!"

the town has a silent chatter of people talking about the mist surrounding them, and the unusual coldness in the mist of summer. however giving the gentleman their undivided attention.

Minori sneaks off the roof and into the crowd as a child to listen to the male.
